Next Meetup

Ive prepared a presentation and I'm wondering if people are keen for a
meetup before the new year?

My presentation is a walk through of the development of a Django app
and has the following objectives:

* Provide an introduction to Django for people with little or no
experience
* Introduce some technologies that can be used in the creation of
mashups
* e.g. GAE, GAE Task API, IMDBPy, YQL and YUI
* Start a discussion about Django development processes and
techniques

The talk is intended to appeal to both beginners and more experienced
Django developers, from more experienced developers I'm looking for
feedback on things i could have done better. My presentation should
only take about 1/2 an hour so there should be time to go into more
detail about parts of the project people are interested in.

I spoke at Holly and we may provide a room on Monday evening, 23/11. It would be better to start before 19:00 as the building is locked after 19:00, but if it is difficult then we can solve the access problem. Holly is located above Wynyard station.

And just in case you are wondering, my own introduction: I've been on Django group list for a while but hadn't got a chance to attend any meetup. I have a limited experience with Django myself, I built a simple project with it some time ago. I do system programming (C/C++) and mobile software development (iPhone).
