Cross Platform Development

As far as I am aware, iAnywhere's main direction with cross platform
development is using SUP.
Has anyone looked at the possibility of using cross platform development
tools and how they work with the Ultralite database?
I mean, if the Ultralite (rather than UltraliteJ) platform becomes available

I'm guessing the CHECK constraint isn't what you're looking for, or
the CREATE DOMAIN statement, but just in case...

Sorry I took so long to reply.
I'm thinking of entities such as PersonsGenders with a single attribute
(Gender) and domain values of 'Male' and 'Female' if we could store these
values with the table definition then when we unload the database without
data to get a "Blank" or "Empty" database these values will be output with

First, accessing database files over a network share is not recommended.
It is error prone (network disconnections can cause your database server
to fail), inefficient (particularly if your network bandwidth is a
limiting factor for IO speed), and may compromise your ability to
perform disaster recovery.

In terms of performance of the proposal for bit anding (of the server's
debug bits against the message's debug bits) and testing for non zero is
considerably faster than string testing and even moreso than testing

I agree with this proposal - often a single DEBUG state is too general.
Though I think it would be hard to administrate all those numerical
values when used across different procedures/triggers etc. ("err, what
option value was used to debug xxx in stp xy?").

Would one of the DBLOG switches (-x /-z) be able to make the log "fit"
