SA 11 EBF 1490(Win32) failed

Hello Sybase,

the installation of the EBF 1490 for Win32 failed with an windows
installer message.

The error-message is (on my german vista business sp1) "Datenbank:
Transformation: Eine Zeile ist nicht vorhanden und kann nicht aktualisiert
werden. Tabelle: Feature".

I did some research to get this translated.
The english message is "Database: Transform: Cannot update row that does
not exist. Table: Feature.".
This is errorcode 2254 from the windows installer.

I have taken a look into the SQLAnywhere11_1490_32.msp using the Orca tool
from windows installer sdk.
The msp contains only two tables MsiPatchMetadata and MsiPatchSequence.
I'm far away from understandig the windows installer but i think there
must be more than that.

German Vista Business SP 1
SA 11.0.0.1264
SA 10.0.1.3736
ASA 9.0.2.3581
ASA 8.0.3.5444

Same problem here on two Win2K SP4 boxes with German locale :(

FWIW, it doesn't matter if the setup language is set to German or English.

Our support represenative in Germany has just reproduced this
for me. It seems to be a regionalized problem.

All,
We have identified a problem with the Windows 11.0.0.1490 EBF install.
The EBF install will fail on all non-English systems. I apologize for
this oversight in our testing. As of right now we are removing the EBF
install from our web site, and it will not be reposted until this install
issue is corrected.
