Hello, Does anyone know how to do this? is there a utility that will
help upgrading my project from pb7 to pb12. Do I have to upgrade to
pb9 and then to pb12? I installed pb12 and I was unable to open my
project. I have downloaded both pb9 and pb12. Any suggestions? Thanks

If you add an existing target file (new in pb8) or create a target for
an existing application, and the application was compiled with a
previous version, then you will be prompted to migrate it.

Then of course you'll have to resolve any compilation issues.

Thanks I thought I had a similar answer before but the first time I
tried this I was overwhelmed with the error messages. I was ablet to
upgrade to pb12 this time. I was able to download pb9 from sybase. I
upgraded the project and got many warnings. I did nothing with these
warnings and then copied the folder on my pb12 computer. Then I copied
the global variables and the init script and everything seems to work
great now. A got a couple of questions now.
1. How do I copy this program in the client computers. do I just need
the pb12 dll to go with executable or is there a runtime I need to
install in the clients.
2. What can I do with pb12 that I cant do with pb7?
Is there something new? Can I run the app from a web browser or
something like that?
Does it work better with windows 7? I was able to run my pb7 app on
windows 7 but I havent tried to run it on a 64bit os
