Error JZ0I5 when trying to connect using an installed charset

I am trying to make a connection to SQL Server 11.0.3 on AIX from a servlet running on NT 4.0 using a character set that appears to be installed on the server, but every time I try to connect, I get JZ0I5: An unrecognized CHARSET property was specified: mac. Accessing Result set with column names

I have a problem accessing the result set with column names. Since I know the column names returned by the SQL Query, I want to access the result set with the column names (rather than the column position). Doing this with jconnect is not working. Am I missing anything here. Please help if anyone knows how to do this.... more »

Any luck with BLOBs on 5.5.05 with JConnect 5.2

Has anyone had luck inserting BLOB data into a 5.5.05 SQL Anywhere database via JConnect 5.2. I'm using Java 1.3. The TextPointer stuff does not work for 5.0/5.5 databases so I'm stuck with SetBinaryStream I guess. Dave
