I cant resist a true story about these critters.......

Long ago, in a time far back in the dusty greymatters, a boatload of
these critters came loose in surplus, at about 100 bucks a pop.
Several were garnered up for use in goodly CP/M boxen of that era.
At the end of the era, they were sold off for maybe 10 bucks a pop.
Last year I bought one for a token buck, at a flea market, with the
intent of making it an outboard scsi box, with some cable rehashing.
When I got it home and looked closely at it, it still had my name
inscribed in felt marker, on its backside! It was dusty, a bit dinged,
and a bit rusty, but still worked fine, when I did a test fire up on
my last remaining CP/M crate!

These critters are well nigh, indestructible! Will pentiumwhatzits be
so long lived?....... nah.......

Ahh, indestructible memories.....
