Good morning,

The Knox County Soil Conservation District is holding elections this week for 3 positions on our Board of Supervisors that have come to term.

The polling locations and times are as follows:

March 8 - 12, 8:00am - 4:30pm at the USDA Knoxville Service Center off New Harvest Lane (our office).
March 11th, 10am - 2pm at the Farmer's Co-op off of Asheville Hwy.

The candidates in the elections are as follows:

1) Smiley Clapp (agricultural landowner in Knox County, in the Flat Creek watershed)
2) Dennis Fox (owner of the Fruit & Berry Patch in Maynardville)
3) Bill Hill (current Chairman of the Board of Supervisors)
4) Broadus Hubbs (current Vice Chairman of the Board of Supervisors)
5) Jim Jarnagin (current Liason of the Board of Supervisors)
6) DJ Krahwinkel (Knox County landowner in the Stock Creek watershed)

Please come by one of the polling places and take a moment to participate in this election. All Knox County landowners are welcome to vote.
