Upcoming Events: Water Remote Sensing Hackthon and more

Hi Folks, we have a few events coming up.

Casual Meetup on Thursday, March 15 - Atlanta
Casual Meetup on Tuesday, March 20th - NYC

On March 23 - 25, We will participate in a Water Hackathon in NYC with Pachube, Public Laboratory (GrassrootsMapping) and Don't Flush me. We'll work on hacking remote sensing to Ushahidi. This will involve building specs for dynamic forms. We look forward to trying to find ways to collaborate with both groups.

HI Folks, a few event updates:

Reminder: Monday, March 19th is the next community developer's call  http://wiki.ushahidi.com/display/WIKI/Community+calls
(This will be recorded and we'll take notes. As promised we will be alternating timezones for the calls.)

How to join:  we will use skype. I will create a separate community call skype room. Please simply ping me on the Ushahidi Dev Skype chat to be added and I'll transfer you to the skype room.

Update:
Water Hackathon - Remote Sensing to Maps.
I confirmed with the Pachube and PubLab people that we will have access to tech to make it better for people to virtually participate in this event. We can create a skype room for anyone who wants to join remotely and then stream it on a tv in the hacker space.

We will be working on Dynamic form specs and building out the roadmap for how to connect remote sensing to maps. The event includes hardware and software hackers. Something about a canoe to test sensors too.
