Hi Everyone,

I've got this code:

so.addVariable('date', '10/5/2008'), which renders as: Sunday,
October 5, 2008.

I need it to render as: October 5-8, 2008

Any ideas as to how that works. I'm a novice on this stuff and just
spent 4 hours trying to research it on my own and can't seem to crack
it. Any help would come greatly appreciated.

THANKS!!!!!

Sorry, but this is nothing to do with SWFObject.

If you pass in a string into flash (via swfobject 1.x addVariable() ) then
it is up to you how you format / manipulate the string.

Try asking on the general flash boards if you are uncomfortable with the
inbuilt string formatting functions in flash
