  Hi all, getting a bit stuck on this - is it possible to place a film on a &lt;br&gt; website, that can be played in any browser, any version of browser and &lt;br&gt; regardless of what version of Flash they have, even if they have no flash &lt;br&gt; installed at all ? and never any prompt to upgrade / install anything ? &lt;br&gt; Any help really appreciated.

  Are you trying to get the value of document.body.clientWidth before the DOM &lt;br&gt; has finished loading? I believe you need to wait until the document is &lt;br&gt; loaded... if the script runs in the &amp;lt;head&amp;gt; before the DOM is ready, it means &lt;br&gt; the &amp;lt;body&amp;gt; doesn&#39;t even exist yet, so there&#39;s no way to get its dimensions.

  I understand what you are saying. But this cookie syntax is correct. &lt;br&gt; It works perfectly on its own. The only time it doesnt work is with &lt;br&gt; swfObject embed. Thats been the problem from the start.
