I am not 100% sure I understand what problem you are running into.

On the swfoject FAQ page there is a fix for a dotted border appearing in Firefox. Is this what you mean?

<style type="text/css" >
/* fix for FF dotted border issue - see swfobject FAQ page */
     object { outline:none; }
</style>

Otherwise, can you please post a link to your apge and try to explain exactly what is happening?

Hi,

The problem is only in ie. It's a ie bug with the message "click to
activate this content".
I remenber this problem is solutioned by insert the flash via
javascript. But the static publishing don't use javascript to insert
flash in page, some hidde the alternate content inside the object
code....

Tks.

Someone???

Static publishing does not get around the click to activate issue. Are you running an old build of IE which has not been updated? My understanding is that all current builds of IE ( 6/7/8) have now removed the click to activate requirements.

You will need to use dynamic publishing if you are running / have to run an old build of IE.

Also, if you are testing locally ( as a file:// rather than on a web server (http:// etc)), then a security warning can pop up. You can get around this by placing your files on the web server and testing on the server rather than on your local machine.
