So we've got a ninja platform, loads of plugins, awesome themes and
sites, an API and a multiuser version - what's next?
I'll kick off... theme and plugin management in the Sweetcron admin.
Make it as easy to set up and go with the most popular feeds with
unzip and go designs.
The ability to edit post image, tags, and content and to have that
information reflected on refresh would be a huge plus. Control of the
cache would be helpful as well. Overall, just more admin control
without having to hack through the database.

I'm repeating myself from another post, but xmlrpc would be nice so
you can do site posts from marsedit or ekto (or others).
Also, an xml sitemap with cron posting to the major search engines...
but I've almost figured that part out on my own (I'm with iamshimone
on this one, hacking core=bad).

So sweetcron polls data from various feeds, and aggregates them.
Great, but:
1) Is it possible to make sweetcron respond to webhook events? For
example, if I commit some code to my github or Google Code hosted
project, sweetcron can accept the post-commit hooks and display on the
page.
2) Sweetcron might be able to send out web hooks based on events (new
post added, post from a particular service, etc).
Just a thought...

I would like a simple exclude option in the admin interface. For
example: I use twitter, jaiku, friendfeed, and probably some other
tools as well partly as a lifestream as well. I include flickr photos
and delicious bookmarks in twitter. I'd like to exclude those from my
lifestream, because they are already added by rss.

It was recently noted by lifestreamblog.com that the lack of
Sweetcron's development has stunted its growth. I believe more
development to Sweetcron.com such as a database of plugins and themes
(user submitted etc.) will be great. Google Groups isn't too good for
organization.
A possibility for the future could be hosted lifestreams, in a way
such as tumblr, and other lifestreaming sites, are organized. But I'm
not sure if it is worth it.

"There are no doubt some similarities to SweetCron and I’m sure comparisons will be drawn. I love what SweetCron did for Lifestreaming and there are some pretty nice uses out there. Unfortunately there hasn’t been much support from the open source community providing updates and new functionality. This is essential to any app to thrive and grow."

I feel that sweetcron is potentially a great piece of open source
software that fulfils a genuine need and at present there is little
competition.
But what is needed next above all is to foster a helpful attitute from
the core developer(s) and build a community around the product that
can take on some of the responsibility for keeping it on track.

Edited twitter_com.php plugin to make @'s link to twitter. (the code
will also work for #s to search.twitter.com by changing variables,
needs to go into a function, but I need to know more about how
functions are called in codeigniter because I couldn't get it to
work.)

I agree with Bill:
- Function that groups multiple posts made by the same feed in a row
(much how like facebook will group imported youtube activity, etc)
