Hello again, friends! Another last minute message about a show that you really must not miss!! Our favorite New Orleans band is on tour as we speak, and their last stop will be in Memphis on Saturday night. They are Why Are We Building Such A Big Ship?, a 9-piece gypsy punk outfit of accordian, horns, and croons. Their songs will not only make you want to dance, but will make you feel transported to some riverboat 100 years ago. Really brilliant stuff! Let's show them what a great town Memphis can be so that they'll come back in the future. We will be playing first, at 8pm sharp, with a host of new songs as well as the old classics. This is Scandaliz Vandalistz as you've never heard us before! For those of you who came out to see us last weekend, please consider coming again... There will be even more new songs, and the sound quality is guaranteed to be improved. There's no cover charge, so don't let that stop you! All we ask is that you donate some dollars to the touring band to help them get back home. They'll also appreciate an apple, a hug, or a kind word -- whatever you can spare! OH did I mention this is a house show?! And what could be better than a house show???? NOTHING! That is why the show must start early (8pm) and the whole shebang should be over around 11pm. So be sure to get there on time! And remember to be a respectful audience, since no one is getting paid to clean up after you. Also, we might be adding another band to the bill, who will play last, but that's still up in the air. If you have any questions, feel free to email us back or call Alanna at 901-493-8900. We can't wait to see you!
