I work as a railway engineer. I want to use a svg picture to display a
station layout. One layer is static which means that the background of
the screen remains unchanged. A second layer should updated realtime
as the situation of the station changes. The information needed to
update the display are found in a MySQL DB and result in the updating
of some text. I I thought that I could use a SVG, PHP, javascript and
Ajax to achieve that work. Is it possible to use some specific tag to
show Ajax which zone of text should be updated? Has anyone a similar
experience? Some example would help.
