Have an update for gridColor when the drawing background is black...

I'm a newbie on this project, so let me know if this post should go
elsewhere...

I just updated my version of svg-edit trunk to add
curConfig.gridColor. When the background was configured to be black,
the grid didn't show up.

What's the process for getting this and other updates into the code
base. Should I log an issue first and get it accepted, or just do a
svn branch? What is easiest for you? I'm a seasoned developer (23
years) and I know JavaScript, svn, etc. I can update the config page
on the wiki as well.

I had some questions about my solution too.

ONE:
curConfig.initFill[color] doesn't have the '#' prefix,
curConfig.bkgd_color does. What's the preference? My preference is to
include the '#' so named colors work too.

TWO:
I added curConfig.gridColor to svg-editor.js, but it's only used in
the ext-grid.js. If would be nice if it was only define in the
extension, but then I think Editor.setConfig would ignore it because
it's not in the default list.

We're working on incorporating svg-edit into our open source products
(http://greenenergycorp.com). I'm working on a prototype now, so no
promises how far this will go, but we do need svg editing in some
form.

All general discussions go to svg-edit, not svg-edit-commit (which is only for subversion commits).

The process is as follows:

  a) open a bug

  b) attach a patch to the bug (svn diff > yourpatch.txt)
