Funny, I don't recall getting this kind of spam when the group
was on Yahoo, do you?

I've noticed a lot more spam that seems to originate in the gmail
domain lately. Any one have any ideas about their vaunted "security?"

I have had a concurrent increase in spam getting through my own domain
address, which is really unusual. It's hosted by Network Solutions so a
totally different path than the SV group mail. It seems that this ilk of
spammers has come up with a new way through the security nets that,
hopefully, the folks at Symantec and others are already working on.

Interesting though; we've managed to block them for quite a while now~

Hi Jill,

Hmmm, I, on the other hand, have seen a decrease in spam at the 4
domains (including one Yahoo account) and 9 e-mail addresses I
have except for the one that uses gmail for its cloud services.

Interesting how different places have differing protection
approaches and how well they work. Obviously there is not silver
bullet that kills all spam or hack attacks.
