My name is Suresh Kr Pramar. I edit a magazine on corporate social
responsibility called CRBiz. This is the only magazine on the
subject in India so far. Professionally I am a journalist with over
44 years in the profession.

CRBiz is part of the Global Gandhian Trusteeship and Corporate
Responsibility Foundation. We believe that Mahatma Gandhi was the
originator of the CSR movement through his concept of Trusteeship.
Present day CSR contains many of the issues raised by Gandhi at the
beginning of the last century.

Along with bringing out the publication we do workshops on Corporate
Responsibility in various parts of the country. We have done three
so far in New Delhi ( October 2007), Hyderbad (January 2008) and
Chennai (April 2008). More are planned in Bangalore, Mumbai and
Chandigarh

CRBiz will accept reports on CSR activities, policies, research etc
for publication. We are not in a position to pay the contributors
but will acknowledge the source and the author. I would also request
members of the group to send me training material on various aspects
of CSR.

I hope to contribute to the group as and when possible
