Power Shift West

On November 6-8th, over 500 students and community members will converge at the University of Oregon in Eugene, OR for Powershift West 2009, one of eleven national conferences on policy and action to address climate change. 

We're going to have over 12 different panels of experts on tons of subjects: http://west.powershift09.org/conference/panels

Over 20 workshops led by experienced students about how to organize and harness student power: http://west.powershift09.org/workshops

The four main areas the conference is based on are: community energy projects, moving beyond coal, high speed rail and climate policy.
