Tree reminder

There are a few remaining "Charlie Brown Holiday trees" available for the giveaway, more to come as they disappear. I've even found a few grand fir to add to the pile! I cut some holly as well, and tree branches can be made into wreaths!
We've been noticing that the sparrows and juncos are using them for cover in this cold weather so keep that in mind in case you might need one for the back yard. Decorate with peanut butter pine cones or pour some homemade suet over it and the birds will use it long after Christmas!

Thanks to all those who've already taken one, the oaks are appreciating the extra breathing room...

Forgot to mention the location for those who haven't heard of this yet... Trees are available at the Finley NWR headquarters off of Bellfountain Rd. They're right next to the parking area, to the left of the main entrance. I'll be bringing more down from Baskett later today and hopefully restocking the supply before the weekend.
