Besides the deadline for the next round of Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) proposals (NSF 13-520 - http://www.nsf.gov/pubs/2013/nsf13502/nsf13502.pdf), which is coming up on 29 January 2013, I would like to draw your attention to the following other funding opportunities, with near deadlines.

Dynamics of Coupled Natural and Human Systems (CNH) - NSF 10-612 - 19 November 2012
SEES Fellows (Postdocs) - NSF 12-601 - 21 November 2012
Cyber-Enabled Sustainability Science and Engineering (CyberSEES) - 5 February 2013 - (http://www.nsf.gov/pubs/2013/nsf13500/nsf13500.htm)
Small Business Technology Transfer Program (STTR) Accelerating Sustainability using Enabling Technologies - NSF-501 - 6 February 2013
Interdisciplinary Research in Hazards and Disasters (Hazards SEES) - NSF 12-610 - 14 February 2013

Smart Health & Wellbeing (SHB) - new solicitation to be released soon (date not yet set) - due 90 days after solicitation is released,

These programs all support interdisciplinary research combining cyber and physical elements, and I suspect that some of the research ideas we have seen proposed for the CPS program might fit one of these programs as well, or perhaps even better.
