Ok, so while many of you who read this will be getting my Christmas card this year - there are many of you I've only had the pleasure of meeting through this lovely thing called the Internet. But, I am so glad that you are (more than any non-blogger could ever understand) in my life. Yes, it's weird that I don't really know you, but that doesn't change the fact that when your newest post shows up in my reader, it's like getting a letter from a friend. And when you leave a comment, I feel cared for. (Especially when you get all personal and tell me about your lactation experiences - you were all way more helpful than my doctor!)
This Christmas Card was hasty and I have mixed feelings about it - because, of course, Charlie's missing. But, it's a snapshot of where we've been for most of 2009 - just the four of us waiting for our newest member.
Merry Christmas!
Oh, and just to prove my love for you, I'm going to go ahead and tell you my embarrassing story of the week. Simon, in his excitement for a new brother, started poking my tummy and saying things like, "Charlie's in there!" I corrected him and reminded him that Charlie is in Rwanda waiting for us.
"But, Mom! Then why is your tummy getting bigger and bigger and bigger?!?!"
