An E - Mail was sent to me regarding Facebook. The message reads
as followed.
There is a new FACEBOOK virus in town, and this one is
dangerous!! We’ve seen many people saying that there is no FACEBOOK
virus, but you shouldn’t listen to this and always be careful on what
you click! The emails are coming from already compromised computers
from all over the world, and all they are trying to do is to add your
computer to the growing legion of BOTS. FACEBOOK, unfortunately, is
just another victim here. If you have any further questions or
concerns, please feel free to contact us IT Help Desks Ext. 7370 we
will be glad to assist you.
THE EMAIL BELOW IS AN EXAMPLE OF ONE OF THE SCAM EMAILS. IF YOU SEE
IT, DELETE IT.
