Hello all,

I am a fellow SACD enthusiast and I am currently scouring the web for such resources. I am currently bit-streaming native DSD to a Mytek 192-DSD DAC through Audirvana+ and have been enamored by DSD ever since I acquired the Mytek. I personally do some SACD ripping on a PS3 and I would love to share them with you guys as well. After googling for the past couple of days, everyone seems to be pointing to this google group as the audio nirvana for SACD iso downloads. Would you guys kindly point me to the right direction to go about navigating the group and finding such resources? I am supposed to send a PM to a certain lokk...@mail.com but I have no idea at all on how to go about sending out PMs using this interface. Do kindly assist!

If you are looking for information on SACDs alone might I suggest also trying Computer Audiophile and AudioCircle.  They both have members that started this whole SACD ripping thing.  Ted B. facilitates the group on AudioCircle and is one of the best folks to ask about this stuff.  That said, these are not groups that share files and such.  They are just there discussing the technical aspects and troubleshooting, ect. but I am sure you will find excellent information on that particular topic.  It's certainly germane here as well but there are other resources IMHO that are better for that particular topic.  This is a good group for the most part though.  Welcome and check out the other resources as well.

With all due respect, there are members here also at the forefront of this from day 1. They just are smart enough to watch what they say in an open forum.  Just giving a shoutout to those guys...they know who they are.

I didn't think I was denigrating the group by offering other resources.  I don't come on here to bait people or be disrespectful.  I realize there are many cross members in this group.  I was just trying to give the person some other places as well.  My apologies.

You misunderstand.  Not a slight to your offering.  Just sending kudos to our crew.

My bad.  I agree we have some great stuff here that cannot be found anywhere else as well as some great info.

In fact I have often said I wish we had more discussions on here!  A few times I've gotten an answer here I've gotten nowhere else and I suppose vice versa.  I wish the record companies would settle on something and get this stuff out.  It is starting to sound like dolby HD might be stepping up to the table...the recent article in Stereophile suggested they are using some new upsampling thingamabob to extract a smoother audio experience from 24/48 stuff and below...warning you may actually see blu ray music but it will be upsampled...
