They've seen better days and only use the post style pads which I'm tired of trying to find decent pads for. Would dearly love to stick in a set of Kool Stop Tectonics but the distributor here in z won't bring them into the country - market not big enough or something which is fair I suppose but doesn't help me any. I can buy yhem on Amazone but very expensive so I thought why not replace the brakes with new ones the use the threaded pads. So am wondering are the Tektro CR720's on the stock LHT any good? I'll intend to replace the pads with Kool Stops Tectonic as I reckon they're the Bee's Knees! Are there any other canti brakes out there such as the Can Creek SCX5 or Avid Shorty or the Tektro Oryx worthy alternatives? Many thanks Peter --14dae9399b9779e68a04beeb31a7 Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Dear List,
