I had just converted my commuter &lt;br&gt; bike to an Xtracycle and decided that I didn&#39;t need two heavy haulers, &lt;br&gt; especially since I hadn&#39;t done any touring or bike camping lately.

  Thought I&#39;d report on how I finally got a helmet mounted mirror to &lt;br&gt; adjust. I&#39;ve had the same problem I&#39;ve seen reported on these bike &lt;br&gt; forums that shoulders block the view. I gave up on them for this &lt;br&gt; reason a few years ago. Recently gave it a second try. The &lt;br&gt; adjustment problem happened because I assumed the mirror should work

  Here here... alot of that going around. I wend out riding this evening &lt;br&gt; anyway. It was snowing and I so love the snow. &lt;br&gt; Ended up being one of those rides you can rate by the endorphines running &lt;br&gt; through your blood hours and hours after the ride. &lt;br&gt; I so love to ride in the snow.

  Walt, &lt;br&gt; It&#39;s pretty sturdy if the weight is pressing straight down. If it had &lt;br&gt; too much lateral stress, I&#39;d be afraid that it might bend or cause the &lt;br&gt; aluminum to deform. &lt;br&gt; Height would be an issue, too. &lt;br&gt; Talk to the guy who makes them. He&#39;s very responsive.
