Seems like I modify and tinker almost as much as I ride! I recently
gave my LHT a complete makeover. I had just converted my commuter
bike to an Xtracycle and decided that I didn't need two heavy haulers,
especially since I hadn't done any touring or bike camping lately.

6'4" here and on the 60cm. any bigger and standover would be too high
for me.

And welcome.
I'm 6'4"/194cm and inside leg around the 34"/86cm give or take and
have the 58cm frame and I love it and fits me just fine. Yes the seat
post is a wee bit long for some. But I have great control over the
bike and I feel very very comfortable on it.

Hi all,

I cant get into a bike shop to fit one for size so Id like to know

Helmet mounted mirror adjustment

Thought I'd report on how I finally got a helmet mounted mirror to
adjust. I've had the same problem I've seen reported on these bike
forums that shoulders block the view. I gave up on them for this
reason a few years ago. Recently gave it a second try. The
adjustment problem happened because I assumed the mirror should work

Here here... alot of that going around. I wend out riding this evening
anyway. It was snowing and I so love the snow.
Ended up being one of those rides you can rate by the endorphines running
through your blood hours and hours after the ride.
I so love to ride in the snow.

Height would be an issue, too.
Talk to the guy who makes them. He's very responsive.

I happened upon pictures of your black beauty before, and am quite
impressed. Not only is it great to look at, it must be a heck of a lot
cheaper to equip, as you don't have to pay for all the stainless
steel, nickel plating and such.
