SOCITM NorthEast is a professional membership organisation for public
sector IT managers and suppliers to the public sector marketplace.
Its AGM is on 16th march and I'm looking to fill the remaining 30-
minute speaker slot. The meeting is being sponsored by EMC. Other
Speakers are taking about managing Big Data, usability and giving an
update on Sunderland Software City.
We like to juxtapose developments in the industry/marketplace/
technologies with the challenges we are facing in public services.
Meetings generally attract about 25 senior managers from the north
east and are held at Ramside Hall Hotel in Durham.
Whilst speakers aren't renumerated, there are ample networking
opportunities including a carvery lunch.
