I recently upgraded to the latest version and I found what I consider
a pretty major bug. When I edited one of my articles that had already
been published, the URL and entry-name was changed. This caused the
existing link to break. In this particular case I had a hyphen in the
title. The older version replaced the hyphen with two hyphens, where
the latest version does not. Now whenever I edit the article it
rewrites the URL and I have to manually go into that content record in
the database and edit it (I could not find a way to correct it
manually in the UI). Is there any way to have it be smart enough to
NEVER rewrite the URL once an article has been published, at least
without some sort of confirmation that I want it to be changed?

Hmm, that sounds like a serious bug. Could you log a bug in http://code.google.com/p/subtext/issues/ with specific repro step? Thanks!
