Promotion code throwing error on checkout.

Has anyone come up with a solution to this issue? I can't seem to
track it down.

Promotion code being added to the order however causes the checkout to
throw error:

And doesn't let you proceed to shipping. Any thoughts?

It seems its to do with the promotion not having a product ID as
order.rb is doing an inventory check looking for an ITEM which doesn't
exist, this is throwing the error. I would assume an exclusion would
need to be added for promotions.

Turning off inventory control fixes this problem.

yeah that looks like a bug.
Hacky patch at the bottom of

seems to help, too.
