I recently moved and have decided to use the move as an
occasion to sell a number of books. Sadly, the local used-bookstore
where I usually sell stuff says that they're not really buying any
books right now, due to a lack of space and that I should wait a
month or two. I'd kind of like to get these out of my living
room, so I figured I'd turn to the net and see if anyone was interested
in buying them directly from me.

General comments on the books listed below. None of them
are particularly rare or unique books, so the collector is not likeley
to find much of interest here. Mostly these are various books that
I've picked up either for my studies or for pleasure-reading over
the past decade, so many of them are works of history or are in
some way related to the fields of intellectual/cultural history. All of
them are in good condition, showing a little wear, but not much. A few have
been slightly marked-up (notes, highlighting, etc.) and I have indicated
this beside the books that are. Unless otherwise noted, all books listed
are trade paperbacks.

Now for the nitty-gritty. I'm not asking much for these
books-- the prices should be much cheaper than you'd find in a
used bookstore. However, it's a little too impractical for me
to sell, say, a single $1.00 book to someone through the mail, so
I am requesting a minimum order of $5.00. (Which is still pretty
low, all things considered.) The prices below do *not* include
shipping costs. Shipping will be $2 for a $5-$10 order, $3 for a $10-$15
order, and $4 for a $16-$20 order. If you buy more than $20 worth
of books, I'll pay postage. If you're interested in buying any these
books, send me an e-mail to let me know what you'd like and I'll
get back to you ASAP. If you have *any* further questions about the
books listed here-- condition, year of publication, content, etc.--
I'll answer them to the best of my ability, so feel free to ask.
(If you live in/near the Mountain View/Palo Alto area and would like
to pick up the books from me at home or at work, there will of course
be no shipping cost.) I'm willing to give discounts for large orders.
