Studio access over the summer holiday

For those of you moving on to the second year of your courses the
studio spaces are available to book over the holiday. The studios will
be available from 9am to 6pm Monday to Thursday, and from 9am to 4pm
on Fridays. I would expect the college to be closed for a few days
over the holiday, although I haven't had confirmation of that yet.

Firefox 3 and research tools

Firefox 3 was released yesterday. It's worth giving it a go; it's the
fastest browser at the moment.

One of the best features is the ability to use add-ons (plug-ins) to
add functionality. One potentially useful add-on is Zotero.

available to you, or you can work from home if you wish. During these

The mad marking time is now upon Jared, Dave and myself. We'll get
through things as quickly as possible so everyone, second years
especially, can see if there are any gaps that need plugging.

I'll update the marks as soon as there are any changes, but I won't
send group emails out every time as that would get annoying.

Hey guys, erm I was admitted to hospital yesturday with appendicitus and have had an operation to have my appendix removed which makes me pretty immobile for a few weeks.

I was wondering if it was possible to have extension on all three assignments we've got left? Since i'm not actually in any state to do them yet.

Dave has set work in OpenOffice format. For those of you who are
unsure, OpenOffice is a free Microsoft Office replacement that some
people find preferable. The current stable version is 2.4.0, and is

Major issues regarding booting up Ubuntu!

Hi Matt, just tried to dosome work on my remix however Ubuntu won't boot at all. It looks pretty serious, can I bring it in for you to take a look at tomorrow? And if you can bring a copy of Ubuntu just incase it needsa complete reinstallation.

HND1 Business Project Tutorial

Please have some information prepared for the tutorial. (e.g. who/what
