Hi

Dave has set work in OpenOffice format. For those of you who are
unsure, OpenOffice is a free Microsoft Office replacement that some
people find preferable. The current stable version is 2.4.0, and is
downloadable here;

The Mac version needs X11, which is a minor irritant. I would suggest
either getting the beta version of OpenOffice 3 here (could be a bit
buggy, but I haven't had any problems)...

...or you could get NeoOffice, which is a Mac native port of
OpenOffice...

Linux users need to open a terminal and run this;

sudo aptitude install openoffice.org

In addition, Jared, Dave and myself use a portable version on the
Windows machines at work. This is the full software but installed on
your flash drive, so you don't need to install it on the PC to run it.

Hey guys, erm I was admitted to hospital yesturday with appendicitus and have had an operation to have my appendix removed which makes me pretty immobile for a few weeks.

I was wondering if it was possible to have extension on all three assignments we've got left? Since i'm not actually in any state to do them yet.

But hey on the plus side, i'm gonna have a huge scar to impress the chicks with ;)

Kieran.
