Subject: Three Postdoctoral Positions Available, Inclusive Design Institute, University of Toronto
The Faculty of Information (iSchool) seeks to employ three
postdoctoral researchers for a funded project within the Inclusive
Design Institute, Mobile and Pervasive Computing Cluster.

The Inclusive Design Institute is a research community and regional
research hub which focuses on the inclusive design of emerging
information and communication systems and practices. As a promising
emerging area of innovation, special focus will be placed on mobile,
context-aware and location-aware technologies, Ubiquitous Web
applications or pervasive computing, and ambient intelligence.

The available positions are:
• Postdoctoral researcher in Media, Communication, and Sensory

The successful applicants will be expected to be in residence in
Toronto, Canada, for the duration of the postdoctoral appointment and
be an active colleague within U of T as well as the IDI project.

The salary for this position is competitive in the Canadian context,
and is governed in part by SSHRC practices. The contract can begin as
early as 1 September 2012; it is for a two-year term, with possibility
of renewal.
