structr Screencast: Create new project with the simple maven archetype

Hi,

Christian made an introductory screencast about how to setup a structr Server (backend) project with just a few commands.

mvn archetype:generate -DarchetypeRepository=http://maven.structr.org:8082/artifactory/snapshot -DarchetypeGroupId=org.structr -DarchetypeArtifactId=structr-simple-example-archetype -DgroupId=org.structr -DartifactId=example -Dversion=0.1 -Dpackage=org.structr.example
cd example
mvn package
mvn exec:exec

The admin interface is part of structr Ui. It does not cover the complete REST API yet, but we're currently expanding it to do so, and it will be included in the 0.6 release.

Btw, I'm getting "[WARNING] Specified archetype not found." when I try to run the first line you have--but I can browse to your repo in a browser. (I'm no maven expert, so not sure what to look at to troubleshoot why it's not showing up). You're supposed to just run it in an empty folder, right?

Right. It should just work by using the long first command in one, but I think you have to have installed Maven 2, not 3.

mvn archetype:generate -DarchetypeRepository=http://maven.structr.org:8082/artifactory/snapshot \
 -DarchetypeGroupId=org.structr -DarchetypeArtifactId=structr-simple-example-archetype \
 -DgroupId=org.structr -DartifactId=example -Dversion=0.1 -Dpackage=org.structr.example

I've tested it again, on Linux and OS X, and it runs fine here. Is there more output besides the warning?
