Subject: Snow Removal Bug in SWMM 5
Mitch Heineman of CDM discovered a SWMM 5 units conversion bug in the
"Depth at which snow removal begins" parameter. This parameter appears
on the Snow Removal Parameters page of the Snow Pack Editor form. The
program fails to convert the user's input value from inches (or mm) to
feet. The obvious work-around is to enter its value in feet (regardless
of what unit system one is using).
There is also a slight problem with the label used to describe this
parameter. A more correct label would be "Depth of snow remaining after
removal".
These issues will be fixed in the next maintenance release.
