flag Injection hack detection method
FWIW, we had massive injection hacks due to a breach of the SFTP security at our hosting service. Probably a password hack or related. The host tech support people could not give us a clue where the breach occurred unless we could give them a timestamp reference for the server log. We wrote a simple PHP script that compared the index file and a couple... more »

flag How to view soruce for injections
Pardon the interruption, but I feel I need to explain to some how to properly view their source code on their site that may have a malicious injection.. By going to the site in your browser THEN asking to view the source, you most likely infected your own PC.. if the malicious code is there,YOUR pc will now have some kind of infection, often one your... more »

Site scan software
We had problems with 2 of our sites. So the question is. . . "How do you know if and when your site is infected?" Well we wrote a script to tell that and it will email you an alarm the minute your site is infected. [link].

Am I Infected?
Over the last week, I have seen the warning that my site (sentientcreations.com) contains malware in Chrome, as have a couple of my friends. The strange thing is it's very hit or miss, I only get it maybe 1 out of every 10 times I go to the site. I've looked through all my source code and don't see anything suspicious. I checked my... more »
