Hello everyone,
I've finally booked a location for the Sunday June 9th concert. We'll be back at St. Mark's Church at 3pm 6/9 for a public concert. Bring your friends and family.
This Wednesday, May 8th, there will be a board of directors meeting immediately following rehearsal at 9pm. If you have topics that you would like to see on the agenda, let me know. Board members, please do your best to attend. All symphony members are invited and encouraged to attend. Your input is valuable.
Wednesday May 15th we will be holding sectional rehearsals for ALL sections. Please do your best to attend this rehearsal.
While I'm at it, I'll remind everyone that we are playing in Passaic again this year, but we've pushed the date to Thursday evening, August 29th at 7:00pm. I know that Thursday isn't usually our night, but this is a great concert in the park that is well attended and covers most of our fundraising needs for the year. Please do your utmost to clear the date.
After that, I just got confirmation today that we are on for Victorian Days in Belvidere on Sunday Sept. 8th at 3:30pm.
Christmas concerts are still TBD, but I'll try to get on them soon.
If anyone has an eye for graphics and marketing, maybe good with Photoshop and the like, we would love to have some help designing new programs and advertising flyers. Let me know if you're interested!
