Hello fellow Stone Bridge Drivers,
The Grand Prix Festival committee had its regular monthly meeting last night. Things are moving along according to schedule so far.
As you know Glenora Run and Founders Tour are full and sold out. The Knapp Sporting Roadster Tour is very, very close to being full, so if you know anyone who is procrastinating, don’t delay, there are only a few spots left in that event.
Speaking of filling up, the Tour de Marque, Mustang is also approaching the full mark. The Concours de Elegance is almost 2/3rds full and even the Glenkhana is 1/3rd full. And bringing up the rear (where else) is that ugly step child sometimes known as the Rodney Dangerfield of Concourses the Concours d LeMons which now has more cars in it than it has ever had at this time of year. And I use the term cars loosely.
Speaking of procrastination, don’t forget our June 29’th event, the Lake to Lake Sportscar Ramble. Our registrations for that event are up to what the cut off point was last year, but thanks to the folks at Watkins Glen International, we were able to allow more cars in for this year. We are getting close to the cutoff date for that event, so don’t delay, get your registration in now. http://grandprixfestival.com/ramble.html
I have seen the tentative schedule for that event and it looks like a very complete day of having fun with your car at the WGI track, the Old Course and also in the surrounding area with your choice of the scenic or more spirited tour route. Something for everyone who is into sports cars.
Keep on keeping up with the car ahead of you,
Casey
