Max Rails on 1.8.6?

Trying to move a new Rails app to a production server, .. but it appears that the Rails version is too old (2.0.2). What would be the newest Rails we could run on 1.8.6. or any thoughts on faking it out? TIA!

Rails app weirdness!

We have a 'packaged' system that's been running for a couple of years;
all of a sudden the machine locks up, and, upon restart, neither
postfix nor mongrel start. I started postfix manually, however mongrel
is complaining:
