The word I'm getting from a couple of stores -- Walgreens, and Shop and
Save -- is that there's a problem with magazine distribution.
Apparently a firm that distributes magazines in the St. Louis area (and
perhaps elsewhere) hadn't been delivering them for the last month or so.
(Strike? Bankruptcy?) Supposedly they've started up again, but at
least one magazine still showed only a month-old issue, as of a few days
ago.
Google found nothing for me, but maybe I was insufficiently determined,
or I chose my search arguments poorly.
Anyone have any info on this? -Eric

Dierbergs had something posted at checkout about their distributor having supply
problems. Yesterday they had a table with a bunch of mags marked down to $1.99.
Don't know the real issue since I subscribe to mags I want.
