Hot Lunch Wednesdays!!
The Market Cafe’ and the St. J. Co-op are teaming up to provide a healthy lunch option on Winter Wednesdays. The Market Cafe’ will have Brown bag lunches (Soup, ½ wrap, sweet) and individual lunch options: wraps, soups, and sweets plus a hot lunch special every WEDNESDAY from 11am-1pm. The Market Cafe’ is starting a TAKE HOME DINNER SPECIAL by pre-order only. Place your order Monday or Tuesday and pick it up at the Co-op on Wednesday. We use organic and farm raised ingredients when ever possible. Look for our ad in the Caledonian Record every Monday or Tuesday and phone in your order to Sharon @ 748-5419 by Tuesday afternoon and come and get it!

We received a present from $500 challenger Amanda Weisenfeld.
Amanda has been chipping away at the co-op’s infamous back debt with several $500 challenge events.
The $500 challenge concept, introduced by Amanda and Vicki Moore, is a challenge to Co-op members to raise $500 by a variety of ways.
On-going challenges include a CD music sale; Bottle Drive; Raffles- prizes include: 50/50, Massage and Home Energy Audit.
The money Amanda presented was from 25 felted earth balls that she made and sold, donating the proceeds to the co-op!

You can help this effort by purchasing raffle tickets, donating refundable bottles, donating or purchasing music cds, or come up with a challenge of your own!!

3. Veggie Flash Cards- Need someone to help complete this scissor, glue and writing project.
4. Community Links Wellness Directory. This working member opportunity involves calling on local businesses to see if they are interested in offering discounts to coop members and listing it in our brochure. If you are looking for a flexible working member job- this is it! And a great way to meet other community members!!
