NOTICE - SFNA meeting will be Thursday 11/12; also Homeless Shelter presentation same day

I. Our regular meeting the second Thursday of every month
at Parkview Baptist Church will be November 12 this month
at 6:00 to 7:00 PM.

Your 2009-2010 officers cordially invite you to participate
to nurture our neighborhood and its residents.

II. The City of Gainesville has scheduled a presentation
setting forth the current plans for the new Homeless
Center to be built on 53rd Avenue, to begin at 6:30 PM
also on Thursday 11/12. While this is not to be a "Hearing"
but merely a presentation, our neighborhood should be
represented there.

Another option is to ask that someone from Gainesville City Staff make a
presentation to the neighborhood association at a future date, this
could draw more Stephen Foster residents to meetings. I cannot make
these monthly meetings because I chair a Sierra Club meeting that
evening, I closed on a house today in the SE and will be proceeding to
move out of the neighborhood, I hope to see you all at the next Kopper's
meeting.
