Looking at the picture Paul took:
http://groups.google.com/group/stealth-electric-bikes/browse_thread/thread/78c924e56427affd#

My 1st reaction was:
The Bomber doesn't look too much like a motorcycle, and almost like a bike.

It's already silent (more important than visual stealth), but how can
we make it more visually stealthy?
Had this idea: Black out the top of the forks with a black plastic
tube split along its length, that we can snap into place and easily
remove.
It removes that full motocross fork look to it.

Thanks.

Instead of finding a plastic tube of the right diameter plastic tube
and splitting it: Maybe just use black thin plastic sheets to wrap the
top between the clamps and holding them with a pair of cable ties.

Another though on visual stealth...
When size cannot be altered, it can be disguised as something else or
attention can be drawn away from it.
Since most of us are not pretty girls to draw away attention from the
bike, we may need to rely on camouflage.
For example the batteries on the rear rack of my current ebike are
easily spotted by any other ride, but if I put a fake bag over them
then people assume it is just a rear bag on a bike rack which is a
more common sight.

Question is: What do cyclists typically use over the midsection of
their frames? Typically not much because that may interfere with knee
movements. But I have seen publicity panels fitted inside the frame's
main triangle.
We could have a large illusion decal fooling someone to see empty
space, or pretend it is a delivery bike containing hot pizza (who
doesn't love pizza and would interfere with delivery?).

For the side graphics, they can be done like magnetic signs (if frame
sides are steel):
http://www.buildasign.com/MagneticSigns

They could then be slapped on and easily pealed off, depending on your
camouflage needs for the day.

I can't wait to see what you do to your bike....LOL

I like pic #1 look, just take that same size and do a solid white stick on panel.

The Fighter has the fork look you like but the Bombers weight prolly needs the extra strength.

Need to add a fake white water bottle to the hole illusion.
By drawing attention to it, It will help dimishish the importance of
the see-through background choice (asphalt/cement/dirt tones).

I'm no artist, but I think I got the typical viewpoint correct:
Typically seen from slightly behind and above, when showing the
internal width illusion.
