If you wanted to go riding in a forest far from your house.. how would you transport your bomber there?

It doesnt look like it would fit in a normal bike rack.. Also are you able to lift it on your own..?

That depends on your strength I guess, I'm 64 with a bad back so I came up with this plan. 30 years ago I would have picked it up :)

I should have added that if I could lift it I would have placed it on a cheap bike rack I have on my FX35 that I add a few nylon straps from the rack to the roof rack cross bars for extra safety.

That;s how I transported my Optibike but at 116 lbs is just to much for me as its a very high lift on that type car

Looks like you would need to lift the bike, the two I posted have ramps.

And the price seems high. Its odd but bike racks seem to cost more than a MC rack.

I'm trying to find a youTube clip of an amazing self-locking rotating ramp hitch I saw a few years back. It was so easy, just roll the bike up the ramp and along the base and the bikes weight lifted the ramp, locking both wheels in the carrier.

I found several tilt racks in my searching but all were in the $350 range. As long as one has a ramp for $70 to $129 I can live with hooking the ramp on I guess as the wife see's the CC bills...lol

Tow bar installed.....see pic.

$71....not bad

They were out of stock on the aluminum ones I liked. http://www.discountramps.com/motorcycle-carrier.htm

Picture makes it look lower than what it is but I'm thinking I may not need the ramp :)

Rack arrived, and its better than good.

stand on the side of the bike, pop a wheelie to put on rack and the rear will ride right up.....no ramp needed

same to get it off, just power it off as no problem with ground clearance to the Vboxx.

So you don't need the ramp to get the bike on?

You also mentioned you got a bike lift , is this just for working on
the bike?

no ramp needed, less chit to carry :)

I'll snap a few pic's when I have the bike on the car next time.

Yes, its just a work lift and a great asset
