While I expected that the newsletters would be an issue with Ron Paul again, and I do feel that it is fair game, the NY Times Editorial today really pissed me off.
http://www.nytimes.com/2011/12/28/opinion/mr-pauls-discredited-campaign.html?_r=1&hp The fact that they are so dismissive of eliminating the Federal Reserve System (or probably even auditing the Fed), going back to the gold standard (in some form), actually cutting the size of government (I guess it doesn't bother them when regular Republicans say it because they know it is lip service), cutting foreign aid or eliminating it (we are borrowing money you A-holes to give the aid), and opposing the Civil Right Act of 1964 (which Liberals have been exaggerating the Libertarian position on this since Barry Goldwater ran for President).
I would love for Young Americans for Liberty to give the times the forum to debate these issues vs. the Staten Island Libertarian Party at an event at CSI. It will be great for the Editorial Board to actual develop their arguments instead of making such bold statements without any analysis.
