When a user installs SO6 on Solaris 8 (after a network installation has been done), it pops up a dialog box about not being able to find Adabas. This is correct since we don't have Adabas nor do we plan on installing it. Is there any way I can make the setup program not complain about this so that we don't get a bunch of calls from confused or paniced users?

Thanks.

You can avoid the Adabas installation when doing a customized
installation. Under "Optional Components" it can be switched off. But
customizing is only possible during the network installation... ;-(

So you need to do it again, or inform your users. Sorry!

HTH

Best wishes
