I definitely just found out how to break a shimano 105 front shifter. Would
anyone have an emergency spare triple shifter (or a cheap front shifter of
any kind) that they wouldn't mind parting with? The future looks pretty
bleak without a big ring. I don't know if I can go on.

Jason

 Hey guys,

If you haven't run across this yet...I noticed while I was making my
way to class this morning that some awesome person has installed a
little bike maintenance station near Meyer library (walk toward
Escondido from Meyer and you'd see it). There's an air hose - like the
one at the campus bike shop - with a bunch of tools - wrenches, etc -

All rides meet at the campus post office.

Saturday: Meet at 9, roll at 9:15. Likely Pescadero or similar. If the ride is cancelled, it'll be posted on the group. If there is a route you'd like to try, Saturday is a good day to try it. The Big Game is at 4:30 on Saturday.

Sunday: Meet at 9:30 for bagels and coffee w/Cal, roll at 10 a.m. Three route options: short is Crystal Springs, medium is Half Moon Bay, long is Pacifica-Montara-Mavericks-Pur issima via San Pedro Mountain. If the weather has really shellacked the off-road bits, we'll change as necessary.
