Dear Friends,

I invite you to attend the public portion of my PHD defense on Friday,
February 22nd @3:15pm in Y2E2 Rm. 111 (arrive at 3pm for snacks and
beverages).

The presentation will cover selected portions of my thesis, which is
entitled "Characterization and Modeling of Biobased Composites and
Structural Insulated Panels."  In short, this research focuses on improving
the viability of biobased composites (biodegradable composites made from
biosynthesized polymer and natural fibers) for construction applications by
developing structural design tools and assessing durability performance.

Additional information about my dissertation can be found in the attached
abstract.

Hope to see you there!

-Aaron
