Hi all,
I will be leading a weekly Tuesday ride that leaves from the post office at
1:30pm.
Why is it called the "clumsy carpenter" ride? Via Keith, it's because we
will be "dropping hammers." This means that the pace will be fast (for
October) and the route will be long and include climbs. This ride will
evolve as we transition onto Brian's plan and will probably eventually just
be what ever is scheduled on that plan. For now though, the hammer is down.
The route for tomorrow, Oct 2: Warmup through Arastradero, then up Page
Mill, into Big Basin, back up 9, down Page Mill. Just guessing, it will be
4-5 hours. This means you must bring food, money and hydration with
electrolytes.
I would call this a "drop" ride, but Paul will drop me and so it will be a
semi-no-drop ride.
Hope to see you there.
Riley
