Merry Christmas..please read asap thanks!!

Merry Christmas everyone.... was almost a good one for me as this yr have someone to spend it with but last night after a fun night at the Pies, I came home and was checking emails and one was sent to me from one of nanny sites. I don't need them now but I keep them updated so don't have to change the info on them.

 

Well, I opened one just to look and it was a nanny ad for a nanny from the family I now work for. ( Shock  you gotta it) She had spoke to me last week about cutting hrs from 40-30  I told her it would be hard to survive on those hrs with taxes out and even if I kept those hrs and tried to find a new job to go with it, it only left 12-2pm each day. I told her even 33 was better so she talked to husband and he said ok. So, I knew for next 2 wks, still be 40 hrs and then lower but I really like the job and the family.

 

Then I see this..she had said she would start looking if those hrs would not work but I said they would. I saw this and emailed and this morn I received a few emails and one said this was put up before she spoke to me about cutting hrs as they didnt think I would do 30 ( but she had told me on phone, that IF I COULD NOT DO 30, Then they would look but it was put on before she ever talked to me)

 

She says that she is taking time off from work for awhile and will need no one after jan 8th.

I guess it doesnt matter but not sure I believe her anymore. I did everything at their house, not just for kids but laundry and shopping and housecleaning and errands and they would leave stuff from weekend all over the house as they thought the person doing all this would prevent them from lifting a finger the rest of the time...it doesnt work that way. Plus kids dinner, baths, ect. and school and activities. I loved the job and was able to keep busy and pay was good and fun with the kids and  3 hrs of time in middle of day for appts..

 

It's hard to find a job in the winter and its hard during the holidays so once again I will send my resume, ect to all of you to please send to anyone with children that you know, even if they dont need anyone, they can pass on to another family and keep passing till maybe someone knows of someone else that needs someone or if you belong to any list or if you can send out to work families you work with like at the base, ect   anywhere can get the word out will help.

 

Also, if anyone on base, can please send to their friends as they might need care or know of someone that does or if any of you work on the base, maybe you have some boards or message places, it can be posted.. would really appreciate it.  I will send the resume, references and background check in an attachement to you but will wait and send later tonight. I really really appreciate your help and lots of prayers..so far, December has been a rough month..Thank you all and God Bless!!  Love, Debbi
