Meeting Tomorrow - Lets try something new!

Hi all,

 

As usual there is a meeting tomorrow (Wednesday) at 5pm in Zepler building seminar room 1.

 

The unusual bit is the way the meeting will go. In order to try to get more people involved we are splitting the meeting to technical and management side.

The meeting starts with the technical part:

 

5pm to 6pm - Technical

-Beagle board

-Website additions for next year (including simulator)

 

6pm-7pm - General

 

-Competition 10 (next year that is)

*Competition outline (main task of robots)

*Competition name

 

-Mentoring revisited

*reviewing what we are capable to offer to schools (mentoring distance, and frequency)

*plans for implementation of scores and progress checks during the year

 

-Cake + Robot day - Get involved (and eat free cake ;-) )

 

 

We will see if this structure improves the turnout or not.

Things that didn't get discussed last week that need time:

* Engineering schedule -- what's happening by when.
* BOM situation -- how we are going to ensure that our designs contain
information about the components that are being used in them.
* Testing procedures -- how we are going to go about making sure
everything works and stays working.
